Klarna

Klarna lets your customers split a purchase into interest-free instalments, pay later, or pay now — one of the most recognised checkout options in Europe and North America. The buyer chooses Klarna, authorises in an on-page widget (no redirect), and the order is captured immediately; you're paid up front while Klarna carries the credit risk.

## Note

Klarna is market-bound: the buyer's country, your store currency and locale must match a Klarna market your account is enabled for. Klarna is offered only for supported currencies; an unsupported country/currency pair is declined at checkout.

## Setup

1. In portal.klarna.com (portal.playground.klarna.com to trial), open your API credentials: copy the username (a UUID) and the API key (starts with klarna_test_api_ or klarna_live_api_), and the client identifier (starts with klarna_test_client_ / klarna_live_client_).

2. Add every storefront domain that renders checkout (your *.mycartly.pro subdomain and each custom domain) to the client identifier's Allowed Origins.

3. In Settings → Payments → Klarna, enter the username, API key, client identifier and region (Europe / North America / Oceania), then click Test connection.
