Meilisearch

Connect your Meilisearch instance (Meilisearch Cloud or self-hosted) and Cartly keeps a search index in sync with your catalog. Every time a product is created, updated, unpublished, or deleted — and when its collections, metafields, or inventory change — Cartly pushes the change to your Meilisearch index automatically. Ideal for merchants who already use Meilisearch to power search on a headless storefront, a custom front-end, or an external search UI.

This app keeps your Meilisearch index up to date. It does not replace your storefront's built-in search UI — you (or your front-end) query Meilisearch directly with your Search API key.

## Setup

1. In the Meilisearch dashboard (Cloud → your project → Settings → API Keys), copy your instance **Host URL** (https://ms-xxxx.<region>.meilisearch.io) and the **Default Admin API Key**.

2. In Cartly, open Settings → Integrations → Meilisearch, paste both, set your index name (default: cartly_products), and click Test Connection.

3. Run a full reindex to load your current catalog.

Note: use the Admin API Key (not the Master key or the Search key). A self-hosted instance must be reachable at a public https URL.
