Setting Up Mercado Pago Payments

What Is Mercado Pago?

Mercado Pago is Latin America's leading payment platform, supporting Pix (Brazil), OXXO (Mexico), Boleto Bancario, and card payments.

Supported Currencies

• BRL, ARS, MXN, CLP, COP, PEN, UYU

Getting Your Access Token

1. Log in to Mercado Pago Developers
2. Create an application using Checkout Pro
3. Copy the Production Access Token (or Test credentials for sandbox)

Configuring in Cartly

1. Go to Admin → Settings → Payments
2. Find Mercado Pago and click Configure
3. Paste your Access Token and select your Country
4. Toggle Sandbox mode on for testing, off for production
5. Click Test Connection then Save

How Checkout Works

Cartly uses Checkout Pro: customer is redirected to the Mercado Pago hosted page, pays, then returns to your store. Cartly confirms payment via the Mercado Pago API.

Notes

• Store currency must match the Mercado Pago country setting
• Pix and OXXO payments are confirmed via webhook when payment clears
